Synopsis
Sawa is a school girl, an orphan, and an assassin. She is being controlled by a corrupt cop who gives her targets to kill, detailing to her the crimes these men have committed in order to justify their death. Some of his power over Sawa has to do with her deceased parents and the promise of revenge. When another orphan, a teenage boy called Oburi, is brought in to assist Sawa, the two teenage killers form a bond of sorts. As they heal each other's emotional wounds, they begin to dream of a life that would not be spent under the shadows of murder.
Uploader’s Notes: It’s mehsubs because you know… meh. Encoded it from the R1 Mediacoder dvd with Mezzo Forte aka the true uncensored pack dvd’s with MakeMKV because im a hack and can’t properly encode things without a GUI that thinks for me :). It’s at the original bitcode most likely. Added CRC32.
I still never understand why this is considered "_Hentai_". I mean sure it's got a few sex scenes that are rather risque. However it also has a lot of action, violence, and gore. Beyond that it does have a `PLOT`...

I mean the risque scenes are uncensored penetration rape and jizz. As for why they're missing a few scenes. A mixture of there's a normal cut, a director's cut and uncut cut and The Original US release was highly censored like the only thing was saw was tits at the end. A lot of the Blu-ray and DVDs are rastets
There's probably a little bit of redrawing certain parts because the original Masters were censored also I'm not 100% sure I just read the statement from the Blu-ray. I think the last Blu-ray took out the rape scene.
@freaky Hi! I saw this release of "A Kite" today and was curious about it.
From what you said, it seems the US DVD of A Kite is missing certain scenes, as someone who also worked a ton on "A Kite" I agree the sources have different scenes or the scenes are mixed up in the 2 episodes of "A Kite", I can also say on my own experience with it that the video quality is lower compared to the JP DVD of the OVA.
(A Kite is an "original video animation" not a series, even though it has 2 episodes in which the story progresses like in one... idk why)
So "A Kite" currently has 3 regions (one of them is probably unofficial):
-R1 (US)
-R2 (JP)
-R3 (RUS)
For the R1 US, it has a Blu-Ray and DVD (the BD is partially remastered as everyone knows probably), the R2 JP also has a Blu-Ray and DVD, none of the them are remastered, but the JP DVD is the best source if you don't want remastered stuff, and the R3 RUS has a DVD with subtitles and russian audio which I'm not sure it's official.
So on short I would like to say it would have been better to use the JP DVD for your encode, it's not missing scenes and the video quality is superior to the rest of existing DVDs.
