@Shaun It only became a ethic slur because of WW2 but as long as you aren't using it in a belittling tone or whatever, its generally okay to refer japan as jap in this instance, not unless you're from US which you need to turn off the "racist" neurons on your brain so you can think properly.

@Shaun Ackshually hon "JPN" is based on "Japan", which isn't even the country's real name, it's just the name white decided to people call it, similar to Deutschland/Germany. I think it's about time we abandon our colonialist roots and do the right thing, call it "NIP" or if you prefer "NIGGA" (NIppon and Greater Geographical Area) since they ackshually have territorial holdings beyond just the four main islands despite what ignorant white people might assume.
