Any ideas on how to beat the mage girl with the barrier ? Or deal with the statue?

Well in the case anyone is ever stuck and also happens to read this, to beat the barrier girl, use the bow and do a fully charged attack to break her barrier. Not sure if you need to upgrade it first or not but it has to be equipped and not the shortcut button.
